Girls Competitive Team 

Preston Gymnastics Academy is proud to offer a quality  competitive program for girls ages 6 & up.  This program practices year-round, and competes in many of the local gyms located in Maryland.  All of our athletes receive instruction on the four competitive events, including Vault, Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise.  Additionally, they train on the trampolines for aerial awareness..  They also participate in unique conditioning programs designed to maximize potential in regards to strength, power, presentation & posture, flexibility, mental conditioning, and aerial awareness.

In addition to competitions, our athletes participate in a wide array of USA Gymnastics (USAG) events, including state, regional and national clinics, regional training camps, and athlete workshops.  Our coaching staff stays on top of current techniques and ideas by attending coach workshops, and by attending Regional and National Congress'.  

All of our athletes must be registered with USAG in order to compete.  In late August/early September of each year, athletes must pay a registration fee to USAG for their athlete registration number.  

Our team is currently broken into two distinct programs, Compulsory and Optional.
